Meet our founder
With more than three decades in the beauty industry, Lina Kennedy is the founder and president of Alexandria Professional® and the visionary behind the revolutionary hair removal technique that changed the industry. She worked closely with chemists to create inclusive skincare and support products that are healthy, safe, and effective for all skin types, tones, and textures.
Lina’s journey is chronicled in her autobiography, The Sugar Queen, a must-read story of courage and determination that traces her rise from a small-town upbringing to building a global, multi-million-dollar brand. Today, she continues to lead Alexandria Professional with a passion for skin health, innovation, and helping people feel confident in their skin.

Lina Kennedy becomes a distributor for Alexandria Body Sugaring.
1993
Lina Kennedy opens up her Ontario salon.
1995
Lina buys distribution & manufacturing rights for Alexandria Body Sugaring.
2000
Added Hungarian Wellness Mud®, Phenomen-all®, and Ménage a Trois, evolving into the Full Circle of Skin Conditioning®.
2005
Logo turns into the iconic 3 Circles Logo and dropped "Body Sugaring" to become excellence in hair removal.
2008
KiSS Waxing® is introduced and a specialized sugaring warmer is developed.
2010
Gaining global recognition – Netherlands sugaring demo with Lina Kennedy.
2017
Alexandria Professional moves its U.S. office into the Williamsville Village and opens AP Studio.
2018
Introduces ErgoWave®, winning Most Innovative Beauty Product in Finland at the tradeshow, Kosmetologi-Ski.
2020
Alexandria Professional launches its Online Academy, providing world-class sugaring training at practitioner fingertips.
